For the 2022 World Cup, we created 250+ assets that ran in 75 different countries. But not before I took the campaign tagline and gave it a little tweak for the soccer audience.

We launched the campaign with our extended tagline on social.
It was McDonald’s 2nd most liked and shared tweet ever. And we got a ton of engagement.
Then we paid it off with a :15 spot starring Jason Sudeikis.
We also made it into a six-person fan shirt that debuted at a World Cup Match.
Eventually, fans all over the world asked the same question in 13 languages, 1 sign language and 7 dialects: Wanna go to McDonald’s?
We brought on TikTok’s #1 influencer Khaby Lame, K-Pop band Itzy and soccer podcaster Castro to help craft our story with videos and posts on their social handles.
We made a lot of print, digital, and OOH
And, of course, we wrote a lot of tweets for McDonald’s social accounts across the world.
